Hired a bike and rode to Hellbrunn to see the trick fountains, palace, gardens and sound of music gondola among other things. Ill do a blog on Cool Story Hansel with more photos soon.

Went on a tour today called ‘Lakes and Mountains’. Drove to a little place called St Gilgen, then got on a boat and went across Lake Wolfgang and stopped at St Wolfgang. Beautiful little village. The entire shoreline of the lake is filled with people swimming.

Now in Salzburg for a few days and I just went for a very quick walk to get a photo down at the Mirabell gardens. Was actually a really nice sunset, but with no tripod and no filters…this is the result.

Just to prove that there was some blue sky during my time in Wiesbaden. Had a great time and saw everything there was to see…still didn’t want to leave but c’est la vie.

Crazy Charly took me out to the ‘countryside’ to see her horses. I say ‘countryside’ because its really only about 10 minutes away, bit different to Sydney…

Happened to be an Ironman Triathlon (well, half distance) today in Wiesbaden. I normally dont like photographing running, its slow and boring. But seeing the faces of people that are one step away from passing out from physical and mental exhaustion makes for some quite good emotive photos.

Drinking games at a BBQ…universally the same.

Drank many of these at the Rheingau Wine Festival which eventually lead to saying guten abend fräulein to a lot of randoms at a bar. Very fun night.
